An Economic Alliance

Provincial involvement in promoting Mitsue Industrial Park to prospective industry initiatives.

Strategically located, and with ample capacity to support further development, Mitsue Industrial Park is a prime economic play. But to adequately leverage these opportunities, we're looking to the Province to assist with upgrades to the secondary connectors between this hub and Highway 2.

Mitsue Industrial Park is heavily utilized by industry and public motorists alike, but is hindered by the decay of its transportation infrastructure. Failure to address these deficiencies will result in productivity decline and squandered opportunities for further growth of this vital hub.

MD Council is lobbying the Province to invest in Albertans by properly addressing the deficiencies along East and West Mitsue Road.

Mitsue Industrial Park is fully-serviced, strategically situated, and has ample capacity to support further development. But to adequately leverage these economic opportunities, we're looking to the Province to assist with upgrades to the secondary connectors between this hub and Highway 2.

The background information on this initiative will be updated following the Rural Municipalities of Alberta 2023 Fall Convention (November 6 – 9, 2023). Thank you for your patience.
